I wish I could be a fly on the wall in the room where they pitched this movie to Kyle MacLachlan.

Touch of Pink
okay , hear it from a muslim lesbian whose country is still not established fully. i hate when hollywood makes us think that "in the end your parents will accept you 🤍" like its not always the case and its usually not when youre like us like alim like me. and its not racist to acknowledge that and this white boy making alim think it is is so ridiculous that i paused and had to take a walk. but other than i hated giles and all his bullshit , this movie was everything to me. im a film student and a muslim lesbian like mentioned and i also imagine my favorite old hollywood actress talking to me (not always) i got alim in so many different ways and i loved him. i loved the soundtrack i loved the film watching scenes the most and i loved the performances and had a tiny crush on nuru. P.s i also want ONE movie that makes the parent fully evil and not try to make me sympathise with them.
