This Ozu sticks a bit out from the other films I've seen by him. In both plot and the fact that the camera moves here. At least some times here and there. There are slow pull ins and push backs that you normally wouldn't have found in an Ozu film. The cameramovement adds a level of tension or build up to "something", the problem is I don't really know what this "something" would be, or if it really adds anything.
The plot of this one choose to follow the married couple, and not the younger girl having problems with the concept of arranged marriage, which makes for a more sweet and almost plotless film. One of Ozus sweetest.
