I liked the idea of using real WWII footage where B-roll would normally be, but the story is way too unfocused. The plot preview tells us this is all leading up to D-day, but beyond that as an end point, I never had any idea what was going on; it's just a series of scenes with no context. I don't know if this movie takes place over a year or a week. The acting is fine and there is some fun cinematography, however the story has zero flow and is hard to follow.
