After a successful deployment of the RoboCop Law Enforcement unit, OCP sees its goal of urban pacification come closer and closer, but as this develops, a new narcotic known as "Nuke" invades the streets led by God-delirious leader Cane. As this menace grows, it may prove to be too much for Murphy to handle. OCP tries to replicate the success of the first unit, but ends up with failed prototypes with suicidal issues... until Dr. Faxx, a scientist straying away from OCP's path, uses Cane as the new subject for the RoboCop 2 project, a living God.

"Thank you for not smoking."
This surely was interesting. The absurd advertisements that would play between scenes, Hob looking like Hogarth from the Iron Giant. For what many people consider to be a "shit sequel," it actually isn't that bad overall. The original film is much better, though. "Robocop 2" is even more action-packed than the first instalment. Many filmmakers at the time believed that "more action equals a better film," but this formula didn't work for most sequels, except for Terminator 2, of course. Despite that, the movie was still very entertaining, especially during the last half hour with the fight between Robocop and Cain, which seemed to end like three fucking times but was still awesome. I absolutely adore Phil Tippett's stop-motion animation, particularly in the original Star Wars trilogy, and his work on Robocop was also impressive. Overall, it was okay, as much of it felt somewhat boring, but I would rate it close to a 3.5 and might watch it again. Jolly good show.
