This movie started off really strong. Halfway through I thought it would be my favorite of the trilogy, but the last half just ruined it for me.
They just threw things at the wall and hoped it would stick.
The writing is actually an improvement. The dialogues weren't so on the nose.
Still better than the second movie, but ultimately quite disappointing.

Trilogy review:
Robocop as a character is a really cool concept and I wish they leaned more heavily into the progression of his character instead of making him just flip flop between being brainwashed and not.
The whole message of the trilogy is also really solid, wish we could see more films nowadays criticizing this topic.
But unfortunately all of that is hidden behind very below average story structure and scenes. Even for the time it was really goofy. In the first film it was somewhat charming, but then it just became unpolished.
I'd buy that script for a dollar!
