Murnau's only "comedy" is certainly one of his lesser works, but if you just go in just expecting it be daft and convoluted shenanigans instead of a masterpiece, this one is a swell enough time. It's always worth watching Murnau, he's too interesting a filmmaker regardless of the material. And I was never bored, so that's a plus.
Also, it's nice to see Max Schreck in something not as Count Orlok and actually look (comparatively, anyway) like himself.
