Plucky Englishwoman Joan Webster travels to the remote islands of the Scottish Hebrides in order to marry a wealthy industrialist. Trapped by inclement weather on the Isle of Mull and unable to continue to her destination, Joan finds herself charmed by the straightforward, no-nonsense islanders around her, and becomes increasingly attracted to naval officer Torquil MacNeil, who holds a secret that may change her life forever.

I Know Where I'm Going!

With every film I watch from the archers I love them more and more, because every film of them I have seen til now is absolut fantastic.

This one is so romantic and it has a great atmosphere and the location is beautiful.
The cinematography is gorgeous and the two lead performances are incredibly good. I love Roher Liveseys voice so much, it’s so soothing.

Are you down bad for a true Scotsman, bonny lass?

It was cool to hear Gaelic spoken in a film. There’s quite a lot of it in this one too. The Scottish woman is so cool.

I feel like I’m just barely scratching the surface of what this has to offer but man there are some movies you just want to live inside of. This is one of those.
