Yes, it is a good movie, but no it is not a Christmas movie. I’m not a smooth brained imbecile that believes die hard is a festive Christmas film. The movie itself is based during Christmas but number 1, The director says it wasn’t the intent to make it a Christmas flick and number 2, and the most damning evidence, the movie came out in fucking July so bite me nerds. Good movies good characters, good story. A little longer than needed and the characters are a bit cliche but that’s fine. It’s still a solid action flick. I feel like there’s a few extra characters that weren’t totally needed such as the random cameraman they tried to give an arc to and also the FBI agents but I do see the place for them as well. They introduced a lot of characters but didn’t really use them at all, same with the limo driver. Its still a solid movie either way and will watch again, but no it’s not a Christmas movie.
