This was actually decent and the sites like the place where this is filmed is so beautiful honestly. Also icl the main lead is a dilf and tbh I couldn't handle losing Sophia Loren to some random dude. Like nuh uh I ain't losing this perfect woman to some random dude 😭😭😭🙏🙏

As many of you know I love old movies and very much like to praise them but there are times where I must admit old movies can be bad or plain bland as well just like every year in film and Scandal in Sorrento is a great example. This comedy is so unfunny, unfun and feels so lifeless you would swear the filmmakers behind the camera were already dead before any roll of film is produced. The cast does their best with what they were given with the standout being Sophia Loren who really pop and add a lot of energy into the scenes she is in but her and the other cast members seems to be dying of boredom throughout just like the audience. The plot is generic and uninteresting and everything else lacks genuine laughs or entertainment. Just goes to show you no matter what decade there is ought to be stinkers and Scandal in Sorrento is one of them. Bland and utterly dreadful. 1 star for Sophia Loren and the other for the charm of cinemascope and that's it.
