Didn’t expect a movie that made me squirm so many times to be so human and touching. It’s a tough recommendation because of the subject matter (so many trigger and content warnings to count), but for those that can stomach extreme cinema - this is definitely worth checking out.

a very strange yet interesting film with great characters & some really gross shocking moments. the film plays out like an extreme road movie, with some nice cinematography & practical effects. the actual narrative itself about an amateur film director gathering a crew of strange people to travel around with and document was pretty interesting, and it does lead to some really gross, disturbing but sometimes funny moments.

this isn’t a film for everyone, but if you like transgressive cinema it is for sure worth a watch! my only issue was i felt it dragged at times but overall it was a worthwhile watch! also, loved the pink flamingos poster at the start of the film!
