I still pop a lot at the Tarantino part of the ending. This was weirdly comforting to watch again. Something about knowing how Corman’s career goes makes this more enjoyable the second time. I somehow liked it more and less the second time at the same time

Roger Corman has lived an incredible life and this documentary really showed the extent that the industry has grabbed from him.

I would like to say that I popped at them not mentioning Quentin Tarantino the entire documentary as a student but then at the end he acts like he’s been there the entire time

Corman's World
A fun, often sweet doc on the late, great producer-director. Corman's importance in film history can't be understated, for both starting the career of countless legendary filmmakers, and for directing and producing some horror and exploitation classics in their own right; not to mention championing foreign and arthouse flicks while he was at it! I would have loved to see more interviews with and about Corman, which would have come with a longer runtime, but a fun time nonetheless. Also, I could listen to Jack Nicholson talk about smoking weed with Peter Fonda all day.
RIP Roger Corman.

“Keep gambling, keep taking chances” - Corman
I love learning about film history, this was one of those stories that’s really adding to my perspective on the art form entirely. Helped soo many people it’s insane. Coppola, Scorsese, Demme, Dinero, Jack Nicholson, the list doesn’t end for real.
