Mick Jagger eats his role up god damn. I like this a teeny tiny bit less than my first watch a while ago, took different things from it tho. It’s critique on art criticism is a little heavy handed at times, but the exploration of the Figueras character, his faults and motivations, that’s where the film succeeds for me.

Best mooi met een cast die eigenlijk haast perfekt is. Anderhalf uur speeltijd en de geloofwaardigheid doet er een beetje voor onder. Meneer Bang gaat Depp Ninth Gate modus om weer Square Museumdirecteur te worden en dat soort verwijzingen. Achja, Debicki echt een liefduh. Wat nog meer... Ja geloofwaardigheid vooral, identiteiten was wel leuk, hoe je door een ander opgevat wordt, zijn een beetje de interessante ideeën des te meer omdat ik er nu ook over lees in Gombrowicz' Ferdydurke. Poeh, poeh. Toe maar. Algoeds.
