This is a surprisingly well made and gripping Psychological-Thriller.
I liked the Characters, the Setting was dark & moody and the overall Tone was quite bleak. Most of the effects were pretty believable, except for some CGI in the second half. But as a whole the second half felt more tense & fast paced rather then the more mysterious, ambiguous and pretty slow paced first half.
I think the format of an typical X-Filed Episode would’ve suited this kind of Story better. Especially in the first half it does drag a bit and it feels more small scaled then other Movies in this Genre, but the inclusion of Taiwanese & American Actors is quite nice and fresh to your typical Hollywood-flick.
