generic plot, quite confusing, but interesting characters and great fighting scenes. nice experience during its length but that’s it, won’t stay in my mind for long

Lee Jeong-beom is still South Korea’s most Hawksian director. This is less of an action film than “Man from Nowhere” and “No Tears for the Dead”, but narratively it is solid and the attentiveness to character(keep track of all the soups) is what really pushes this above the standard police potboiler.
