Part documentary, part concert film, part fever dream, this film captures the troubled spirit of America in 1975 and the joyous music that Dylan performed during the fall of that year.

Not as neat or clean as Scorsese’s other film on Bobby boy (No Direction Home) but still packs a punch in several moments. The biggest drawback is that sometimes you can tell you’re in between the big punchy moments. Last hour-ish though really pulls the whole thing together in a great conclusion to what seemed like random pieces and parts

I often think about how much better off we’d be if Jack Tanner won the 1988 Democratic primary.

I put this on for the music but the actual documentary part of this was quite interesting.
