Let There Be Carnage is definitely not as good as the first film, but I still like it. Maybe I'm just biased because I love Venom. And Tom Hardy. And Woody Harrelson.
The story is less engaging, and the CGI isn't especially great considering the quality previously. I love Naomie Harris but some of her performance felt over-the-top, compared to Harrelson's Cletus. And everything just felt a bit rushed. However, Venom and Eddie's interactions are so good, and that cures a world of hurt. That one scene of Venom in the club wearing glowsticks 😩🙏.
So, in conclusion, I need Venom biblically. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
