some outdated myopic takes clouded by the limited views at the time, but generally an elucidating watch with great insights into lesbian culture (of the 80s, mostly). while it touches on fashion, this also reaches beyond that and discusses race, animal rights, religion, etc., and doing so with a reverence and commitment to genuine representation. theres a WHOLE lot of guerrilla footage, which gives us a direct look at the scene in its truest state, but i do yearn for the artful framing of sexual mondo films from my lesbian-kino... oh well!
