Le changement de ton est fou, on passe d’un film fantastique et absurde à un film post apocalyptique avec un gros aspect politique.

Apparemment Hong Kong dépend de la Chine pour son approvisionnement en eau brute et certaines personnes avaient peur que la Chine utilise ça comme moyen de pression pour récupérer Hong Kong aux anglais. Ou en tout cas le réal avait peur de ça parce que c’est vraiment la base du scénario. 

Je pensais pas voir ça dans le deuxième Heroic Trio mais franchement je kiffe bien. Par contre il manque des scènes à votre film. Là y a des choses qui arrivent sans que ce soit particulièrement bien amené par le film. Mais bon ils étaient trop occupé à mettre une scène où Anita Mui, Maggie Cheung et Michelle Yeoh prennent un bain mousseux ensemble puis se chatouillent toutes ensemble et honnêtement je comprends hein

It’s strange that the movie without baby murder is the darkest in the series.

The first movie was so over the top and weird that it was actually entertaining at times.

This one tries to be more “grounded and realistic” which ends up just making it super boring. It’s a complete shift from the first one in all the worst ways and is honestly just a really bad movie lol

By the 40 minute mark I was dying to shut it off.

A great sequel that Id say is on par with the first. It improves on a lot in the first, but at the same time does some things slightly less effectively. The plot has more depth in its ideas of political warfare and corruption, which I enjoyed. But, the movie missed Wonder Woman a good amount of the movie. But in the end, this movie is strong in the same way its predecessor is, in its action and emotion. The action is second to none, with the third act paying off well from a physical standpoint and an emotional one.
