All around really solid movie. The action to non action ratio is very generous, yen and kwan have chemistry (which is to say they are both hot), and the action itself is very good.
That being said, everything around the action is just okay at best, and while the action is very good, Yuen-woo Ping has definitely done better. You can even compare the Donnie yen vs Michael woods fight to the one he did for “in the line of duty 4” , and it is pretty clear that this is the lesser of the two.
