A very atmospheric film. Never seen cigarette smoke feel so real, or vodka and coffee look this intimate.
It makes you wonder how easy life could be if we didn’t talk at all—just stare, feel, and suddenly move in with someone. And for some, you simply return to the old routine and move on… maybe not because you don’t feel it, but because you don’t have the courage to start it.
Also playing LP in a car is such a vibe.

Tydelig at Kaurismäki og Jarmusch drev på med mye av den lignende bevegelsen i film her. Dette er første gang jeg ser en svart hvitt film fra Aki, men det gjorde ingenting og selv om hans metalliske blå og gulfarget er skjønne savnet jeg dem ikke her.
