Ugh I’m so mad because this movie checks all the boxes for female-led fantasy saga and Kristen Stewart actually acts so well in it, but the movie is empty. I think it ultimately fell short because they were afraid to get into the darkness plot-wise. I understand that it’s a fucking Disney live action remake, but I mourn for the movie it could have been.
