My roommate, a diehard INXS fan who familiarized me with the band, made me watch this documentary, which I surprisingly liked quite a bit. I like that it’s not another typical talking-heads doc and uses the interviews as voiceover over Michael Hutchence’s home movies and footage; similarly but not to as large of an extent as Moonage Daydream. I would’ve liked to see a longer miniseries on his life, but I enjoyed this doc as-is.
Michael Hutchence was an incredibly talented musician, a true rock star gone way too soon :(
