Parade is a quiet, playful conclusion to one of the most charming filmographies of all time. While it can meander and feel a bit unengaging at times, I was ultimately entertained for most of the runtime. Its themes are both meaningful and distinct, and the film as a whole is unlike anything I’ve seen before—which, in itself, is worthy of praise.
Now that I've watched every Tati feature, I genuinely can't wait to revisit them through a new lens.
