I loved this movie because it acknowledges that glass will actually do damage to you.> Closer to a 4.5Animated Sci-Fi is probably my favorite way to explore scientific concepts, because it allows you to truly go all out, and that's what Mars Express did best. The animation in this movie is spectacular, and the world-building for an 89-minute movie is astonishing. What sold this movie for me was that they were building this world through a compelling crime story without it feeling natural. The characters have great chemistry, the design is great, the action is breathtaking, the stakes are huge, and the world and its functions are easy to understand. In a way, this movie is a spectacle. They can capture all of these ideas into a tightly paced movie that works as a standalone movie, but I wouldn't be mad if they made another movie in the same universe.
