I remember loving this film the first time I saw it. On rewatch, it doesn't hold as much charm, but it's still excellent. The biggest obstacle for me was the animation style; I'm not the biggest fan of the 'unfinished' drawing animation, though I'll admit there were certain scenes which were really beautiful. But the plot carried the film through, and both narratives (the hand's journey and flashbacks leading up to the accident) were so engaging, and the voice-acting for Naoufel and Gabrielle especially was perfect. All in all, while it's not quite what I remember, I definitely think I Lost My Body is worth a watch.
