Dude, this movie hurts to watch, in a good way. The ending, holy crap the ending. If you know you know, but man that hurts. I really like this movie because this is definitely how most if not all people would act in a situation like this. My only beef with this movie is the CGI is a bit outdated but I can look past it. The first time I watched this, I literally had my hands on my head, saying no wtf, that’s not how this movie ends, there’s no fucking way, no, no, NO!!!

This was a pretty good watch. I really liked the monster designs, though the CGI was a little janky. Mrs. Carmody can go die in a hole, though. She just kept pissing me off with no reprieve until Ollie did the right thing. The ending was genuinely so harrowing; goddammit Frank. I miss Andre Braugher so much 😭.

When thinking about “most depressing” movie endings I landed on the mist
Was excited for a rewatch as I’m much older
This is an amazing study of the human character, all the different reactions to the mist is amazing aswell as the mist itself looks well for the time

The ending is maybe the most heartbreaking ending I’ve ever seen, this is a true horror film

One of the best endings to a Stephen king adaptation. Decent movie overall. Wish there were more practical animations happening tho. Also a heavy CGI era so I give it grace
