Fun concept and it feels like an extended Tales From the Crypt episode but it’s lacking in the execution, some good kills, but the movie is mostly dull and the characters not really memorable but the opening scene has Jeffery Combs in it so that’s something

“A good cast is worth repeating.” Well yes. The cast is absolutely wonderful.
This was a great creature feature. Fun, cheesy, fast, and with a lot of heart. I love the characters and how they interacted with each other, especially Phillip and Whitney.
The entire concept is so good and was executed greatly in my opinion. The set pieces were tense, and the film grain looks good too.
My no. 1 favourite creature feature.

This film was written by Don Mancini, under the name Kit Dubois for some reason, a year before he wrote Child's Play.
And I've always wondered why Mancini never made, or worked on, any other films outside of the Child's Play/Chucky franchise.
Then I watched this film and now I understand and see why.
