My God, all the effort and all those sleepless nights of work. They built the streets of King’s Landing, hired so many actors and in the end it all feels ruined because of the rushed and sloppy writing of the eighth season. I feel bad for everyone who worked on it 🥲
The documentary itself feels a bit stretched out to me. It seems like they included almost everything they shot. There are quite a few moments that just show people working, sitting around or going about their day without much commentary. Some of it works well as a breather between interviews, but when it goes on for too long, I start to lose focus 🤷🏻♀️
My favorite moments are the ones with Del Reid, who is responsible for the snow, and Paul Rocks, the security guard near the set :)
