Super uncomfortable, but the film becomes very stereotypical towards the end in terms of representation of its characters, and lacks nuance.
I keep seeing people calling the film “raw” and I think there’s a difference between “raw” and “gross,” and the film becomes the latter as it goes on, with numerous distressing scenes that repeat the same “the porn industry is bad and will fuck you up” message. And I do agree that the porn industry is bad and unhealthy for a good amount of people, especially women. But, in order to fit its narrative, the film skips over the fact that there are people who enjoy working in that industry, for example most of the real life adult performers that were cast who ended up not liking the way the film portrayed the industry, and were told it wouldn’t be portrayed that way.
It’s also questionable that the film left out most of those porn stars from its marketing/promotion.
