Dumb, fuck-ass movie. The only times I got excited was when the original game music started playing.
I’ve never played either game but I watched Stampy’s letsplay of the first religiously. Very unknowledgeable on the second game. Clearly there’s been a time-skip within this world compared to the original games but like, are familiars just not a thing anymore? That over-played ableist trope of ‘curing’ someone’s disability could’ve been 100% fixed if they just used familiars to fight LIKE THEY DO IN THE FIRST GAME.
Captured none of the likability and charm of the game, the more I think about it, the more issues I have. What a waste.
