The wittiest, most adorable moroccan movie I've ever seen. In other words the only good moroccan movie I've ever seen.
That storytelling was most delightful, the characters fit perfectly in and I cannot do anything but applaud what a gem of a director Alaa Eddine Aljam is. Truly a masterpiece that makes me proud of my homeland.

30 FOREIGN FILMS IN MARCHPITSTOP 10: MOROCCO
A visually stunning film. I enjoyed the cinematography of it with the vast landscape and terrain showed beautifully and added a lot to the overall viewing and did give off Wes Anderson vibes at times which I enjoyed along with the deadpan comedy. Well acted and the script was good along with the score. The actual plot however is the biggest critique I have with it at times feeling long and having some characters underdeveloped or overdeveloped. It however was a great introduction to the moroccan film industry and was a pleasant experience.

what a little gem of a movie !! gorgeous visuals/location, a perfectly executed and witty last 15 minutes, a cute dog with gold teeth (!), and the first arabic film i’ve ever seen : )
