This was dumb as hell but the characters are a vibe and the men are hot! The killer’s costume was rad and I love the horror movie references.

Definitely not a hidden 80s gem. I think the bear costume and the knife claws were pretty cool. But that's about all the film has going for it. I had a hard time keeping up with who was who. Characters weren't memorable whatsoever and they are all so hard to tell apart. The murder weapon was really cool but the kills were so bare bones. Some shots of the bear just standing there were cool though. Love the fact that they discovered the killer by drawing on a photo lmaoo.

Pretty great. There's enough going on that it doesn't feel like there's too much fluff between kills. The killer spouts hateful, raspy dialogue like the chattier A-list slasher villains and is oddly effective. The ending is a real "Wait, what?" It's a mix of a bunch of better slashers but it brings its own fun, too.

Had I first watched this recently as a seasoned vet of the slasher subgenre I may not have liked it as much. But this along with Sleepaway Camp were the first slashers (not counting the big ones of course) that I watched and made me fall in love with them. Always holds a special place in my heart because of that
