This movie is so good.

Okay this movie was actually really really good. This adventure is so fun and seeing Chicky’s mindset about the war slowly change is really good. Zac Efron is such a good actor and he really sells the happy go lucky aspect of his character while showing him slowly learn the truth about the war. Also, really good commentary on the Vietnam war and the many mistakes and misinformation that surrounded that time.

I had an okay time with this, but the amateur feeling of this and messy filmmaking kinda distracted me. Something just felt forced or disconnected here.
