Really tough to judge the historical part of this but being from Amritsar and having been to Jallianwala Bagh multiple times the 3rd act did feel as devastating as when my mother used to tell stories about the massacre everytime we went there. “The bullet holes are still there preserved in the wall” she used to say “people had to jump into to the well to escape but died still”

The horrors of the empire
Icl I had no clue about the history this film talks about but my god is it horrifying.
The British empire has been heavily criticised and this film details the criticisms heavily.
The long runtime passes very fast and the films shift towards the last 40 is horrifying. It goes from a political thriller to a body horror in a sense.
This was my first Bollywood film and I feel this is a rlly good start for anyone who wants to indulge themselves into this medium of filmmaking.
This film has great locations and costume to help represent the period well.
The performance from the lead actor is good I liked it.
I think this film paints the British in an awful light as it should this is a critique of the British empire and at that it does amazing.
The massacre scene is very hard to watch and probably the most shocking scene I’ve seen for some time. The gore and camerawork make it rlly scary.
This films mix of Hindi and English works rlly well and helped to make this film a mix of filmmaking mediums.
The flashbacks are very well done and give the revolution a lot of meaning. He wasn’t a killer at all.
A scary painting this film and an eye opener
