Full metal Jacket is Stanley Kubrick’s look into the terrifying reality of the battlefield. This film is beautifully shot making the most horrific scenes have a ton of beauty to it. There is some extremely unique risk Kubrick took and it was executed masterfully. The character development in this film is also extremely well done, from the short life we saw of pyle to seeing joker change many times throughout this story. I honestly think this is my favorite war film since i loved every character, it had comedic parts every once in a while, and it truly is beautiful.
I’m really enjoying every Kubrick i’ve seen so far and i cant wait to watch more.
