I went in expecting some rich-family drama and suddenly it’s like… oh, we got a whole man living underground? Did not see that coming at all. Also Morgan/Carson, every time he popped up it felt like a jumpscare even when he was just standing there doing nothing. His face alone is a red flag. Not gonna lie, I was calling the plot way too early and I felt like a genius for it. First, I already knew Lauren was gonna get emotionally played. She screams people pleaser, like girl… stand up. Second, I kept wondering why such a risky secret wasn’t just handed to William, and the ending answered that real quick. Third, the inheritance thing?? So off. No way the daughter gets that little unless something’s weird. I even thought maybe she wasn’t the “real” child or something was off with the dad.

Fourth, I did NOT buy Morgan’s story. It sounded convincing, sure, but also kinda… too simple? For a family that rich and powerful? Yeah no. I was like, this man definitely killed someone himself. Fifth, the moment Lauren went to Sofia’s place, I KNEW there had to be another child involved. Sixth, once that package info came in, I was like… he’s the father. No question. Seventh, I already knew she was gonna burn the place down. He basically planted that idea himself. Lauren’s biggest flaw? She moved way too fast. Like you don’t even have full info yet. She let sympathy cloud her judgment, ignored her actual family, and dug into trauma she clearly wasn’t ready to handle, especially while grieving.

BUT I’ll give her credit: she’s not dumb. Always armed, always alert, instincts on point, and grabbing his fingerprints?? Smart move. If she didn’t do that, it would’ve been over for everyone. Still mad about Harold though. That one hurt. And don’t even get me started on that line:
Like PLEASE shut up. It’s so annoying and weirdly unsettling at the same time. Feels like it means something, like a clue or whatever, but also… he just sounds insane. Honestly, from the second you see him, you just know. Even when he sounds convincing or tries to play the victim, there’s something deeply off. The vibe is criminal. Period.

You know everything is wrong, but you’re still forced to pick a side because of all the family drama, politics, affairs, secrets… it’s messy in a good way. Also real talk, grief makes you stupid. You’re not thinking straight, you’re just floating. So Lauren being all over the place? Makes sense. Lowkey respect her for holding it together as much as she did. Big takeaway: don’t trust people too fast, especially random men living in bunkers under rich people’s houses
