It’s not great, it’s slow and uninspiring. The ending is really it’s only saving grace but the majority of it a a slog. I felt like they forgot about some characters and then come back to them way later down the road, this is especially done with the wife for example. Maybe I missed something on this one or maybe it’s just not for me but I didn’t enjoy it really at all. I didn’t feel any emotion, the characters were kind of all not great people so it was hard to cheer on someone and in the end I just felt bad for the kid. I didn’t think there was any good character development or acting, everyone was just kind of stale. Its a pass for me on the rewatch.

Finally got to watch this, I definitely get why this has mixed reviews, it isn’t for everyone, it’s intense drama with the dialogue being the main plot. I loved it though, the story and the performance is so authentic everything felt so real.

I feel like everyone was wrong but right at the same time, like they are guilty and not guilty, what they chose to do might not be right but was there even a right a decision?
