I don't like films that makes a whole fucking sequel to a fairytale that'll completely derives itself from the original story and have all the creative freedom to fuck it up. I understand that the past of the main characters is just basically the original story of Hansel and Gretel but it should just become the objective of the film. How tf do they not remember anything besides the fact that they killed a witch when they were kids? It doesn't make sense why they would become a witch hunters when they don't even know if witches killed their parents. They just happen to be "obligated" to be witch hunters as apart of their job?? I wish they focused more on trying to understand what happened to their parents because that would be the only true motive to why they'd become witch hunters. The cgi was fucking shit, you can afford to cast Jeremy Renner but not afford good cgi. Sorry but I used to love Thomas Mann from his earlier work but I'm starting to get annoyed from his consistent roles his choosing and loses my idea of the versatility of his acting. I could see this film only being made as a thirst trap for Gretel's character. That suit is not helping at all. Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunter is a disappointing, stupid, messy film that'll make you want kids to be kidnapped
