I get why this gets a little short shrift. It’s shot like any other Canon movie so the light neon slime ladled over it kind of detracts from the gritty verisimilitude even if there are more interesting details than hokey elements of facade. The performances and staid plot certainly elevate this but I appreciate that there were a couple of Israeli cousins making sure some fun was injected into this favor film.
