this is entirely a self indulgent watch. i saw the scene (1:23:55-1:24:35) on twitter and knew i had to see jane fonda play kitty. which i might say her performance was so amazing and not only because she is absolutely stunning in this role. this movie suffers from the actual couple just being kind of boring, but the whole ending definitely had me intrigued again. also didn't know i was signing up for barbara stanwyck as a lesbian so that was pretty awesome. i loved the cat imagery, and the credits (opening and closing) were so fantastic.
