❝To you who brought me back to life; To twisted thorns that grow inside; The shingle washing my old bones; Of woe betides and woe begones.❞

I'll be honest, I probably didn't grasp the meaning behind the film very well. As far as I'm aware, anima is the unconscious feminine side of a man, so rather than a love story, I'd interpret the plot as containing soul-searching instead. I don't know, maybe I'm talking out of my arse. But what I do know is that visually, it was gorgeous, and the choreography was brilliant too (I love that the woman Thom Yorke looks for is his wife).
