Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is just a good time. A Piccolo and Gohan centric story that actually revolves around some beloved side characters in a story that is honestly hilarious at times, fun and badass at the same time. 

The entirety of the movie being CGI made my very nervous but the animation is surprisingly excitement and awesome, we have never seen Dragon Ball animated in this way, and it looks incredible at times. Gohan crashing out and going SS2 made my inner child scream out and his new transformation, Beast Gohan is so badass. Can’t wait to see this again when the anime comes back with the Moro saga.

What I love about this movie is that finally we got a DB product we’re Goku or Vegeta were the main characters, and I think that PICCOLO was especially overdue for a story were he was the main character. In general I think it’s a really fun and entertaining movie and I hope it sends a message that not only Goku or Vegeta matter (although hopefully someday we’ll get a arc were Vegeta saves the day, TO THIS DAY I'M STILL PISSED OFF ABOUT RESURRECTION F).
