Well, I was right about the filmmaking technicalities after I rewatched Halloween 2018. If DGG decided to base this trilogy off of the first tree films, then Kills will be fucking interesting, also I haven't seen Halloween 3 yet, probably should before this next one.

Kills is a messy, yet entertaining romp of a film, it s stupid, most of the characters are useless, and Jamie Lee Curtis sits in a hospital room most of the time, just like Halloween 2. This trilogy is so interesting. It's schlock, but it knows it's schlock, it tries to be polotical, it succeeds but its too heavy handed, but I enjoy this story so much I don't care, sure I can rewatch something but my favorite director Michael Haneke, but here I am watching this inconsistent series

What…. the….. fuck!?!?!?!?!? How in the name of the ass do you make a Halloween sequel worse than Resurrection?!?!? The story is poorly written, it uses stock footage from one of the sequels it’s supposedly de-canonizing, Laurie’s daughter and granddaughter are the same characters they were in the first movie and experience no growth, and to top it all off, they REALLY did Tommy Doyle DIRTY!!! Whose decision was it to make him a stupid, bumbling fuck and then kill him off? What a way to shit on his character. And all the side characters are stupid, too. 

I am beyond fucking angry, and thank God I streamed it rather than paying $15 to see it in a theater, because if I did, I would’ve been even more furious. David Gordon Green and Danny McBride should NOT be allowed to write any screenplay after this total train wreck.

So, thanks, Blumhouse, you creatively bankrupt fucking hacks.

I really enjoyed this movie. but there were good and bad moments. The good was the incredible score, cinematography, and just every single scene with Michael. Michael Myers is absolutely not a joke in this movie. However the dialogue and the characters were just AWFUL. I thought the characters in 2018 made sense for the movie(Podcasters and the therapist).
