Slavic dances and music, beautiful flowers shots, impossible love stories… I’m starting to really love Loteanu’s movies. To me, The Gypsy Camp Vanishes Into the Blue ( 1976 ) was better in a lot of ways, maybe there's a rhythm problem during the second part of the movie. But I absolutely adore how the director knows how to make poetic images out of the blue. I've stayed captivated all along, this movie feels like a tragic tale. The waltz scene was perfect in its emotions, made me want to fall in love.
Slavic dances and music, beautiful flowers shots, impossible love stories… I’m starting to really love Loteanu’s movies.
