A movie that is full of incredibly intense and tough scenes but at other moments seems lacking in finer details that builds those moments. War is hell, deadly, and unpredictable and this movie reminds us that but doesn’t do much to get us to care about the people that it happens to. Ryan and Ray are both fantastic but pretty much everyone else is empty and weak. Still a great film and worth a watch though because of those two performances.
