I was too upset w this movie last night to write anything about it. My main issues lie in the last 20 min, which are genuinely gross (and gross for the sake of being gross). It’s unfortunate bc I think it had a few unique and interesting things going for it prior to that, such as the synth-pop score, the scene where the police decide to display her body in a glass box in hopes someone can identify her, and the parallel narrative structure that leads to an unexpected twist. Y’know, I guess this is just part of the experience of exploring 60s/70s eurotrash, bc sometimes it really is trash, but every once in a while it’s absolute treasure.
