I just kept thinking that Franchot Tone and Joan Crawford were already married irl when they filmed this and I imagine how awkward things  could’ve been in the set as Clark Gable was basically Joan’s ex. Fun movie but nothing too spectacular, I love this couple but I think they’re better together in dramatic roles.
