It’s fun, gory, with a tad of humor and I definitely enjoyed myself. It is a turn your brain off and enjoy the action type movie, there’s definitely a few parts that the main character is definitely wearing his plot armor. There are also a few scenes where it seems like it’s a little to convenient for some characters. I thought the bus scene was by far the best part, it’s really satisfying to watch him beat the crap out of those thugs. The ending is also a really entertaining battle to watch but is a bit more on the home alone mutilation edition which made it a tad more inconceivable and ridiculous. The claymore part was also a bit ridiculous. All in all, it’s a fun dumb over the top action flick that doesn’t cease to entertain but is a bit over the top at times. I’ll still watch it again though.

i thought i was gonna hate this, but honestly pretty decent.

i usually despise action, as it’s usually just senseless gun violence without any actual gore. this followed a highly predictable plot, as many films do of this type. its quite tight, and the reason it works decently well is its swift run time of only 90 minutes. the action sequences are of high quality and there’s some good gore thrown in there. i probably wouldn’t ever watch it sgain, but still had some fun.
