In a blank film, holes were punched with a office hole-punch. During the projection, only the black scratches present in the material, which form over the course of time, can apparently be seen in the holes as well. (E.S.)

White December has a lot of good and a lot of bad. First off, I think that Adrian is one of the best villains we’ve gotten in a long time, he’s written brilliantly and he honestly might be the best part about the movie, he’s written brilliantly steals every scene. I also love the winter aesthetic to the film. Also the movie knows how to build intensity to every scene. Also the action was good and the big fight scene at the orphanage was amazing. I also like how scenes were chopped up and vary between very long scenes and short ones, with a hint of non linear storytelling that adds a unique feel. The final shot was also terrifying. I do have a lot of issues with the film starting with all of the side characters who didn’t really have their own personality. Also the story can be interesting at times but also can be really confusing and not everything feels set up. The movie also feels like it sometimes doesn’t really know what it wants to do or what message it wants to say. The dialogue is not too good to be honest, I know Adria is supposed to sound robotic but the other characters aren’t too far off. The movie kinda bounces around and doesn’t know who it wants to be the main character. Overall this movie had a lot of mid but I think the villain and his motive is really unique and creative so is the way that scenes are shot and placed together. I think this movie is pretty special and is pretty good for a 14 year olds sophomore film I give it an 8/10
