This is a really unique and interesting movie.
It takes a while to get going and to get in it, but then it has really emotional moments. However I still didn’t got in it really, and you feel the run time, but the few moments where it’s gets me, it’s really gets me.
Also it really looks beautiful, and the language sound really amazing.

Joins the ranks of the best looking movies I’ve seen. I do wish the film leaned heavier into the magical realism. I really feel like the third act or ending could have benefited from some nod to the supernatural or divine when we’re basically teased with this omniscient narrator throughout.

A stellar under seen film, one that’s cinematography, composition, and mise-en-scène are fantastic!! Definitely recommend people check this out!! It is a bit of a slow burn though, so just be prepared for that going in.
